RASC News Agency: Local sources from Daikundi province confirm that an 18-year-old boy hanged himself in the center of Daikundi province and ended his life.

According to the sources, this incident took place last night on September 2 in the second security area of Nilli city, the center of this province.

According to the sources, this young man’s name is “Mahdi” and he was a resident of “Qala Qadir” village of the second security area, Nilli city. The reason for this young man’s suicide has not yet been clarified, and the police of the Taliban group in Daikundi confirmed the incident and said that investigations are ongoing.

According to reports, this is the eighth suicide incident in the last three months in Daikundi province. This is despite the recent increase in the number of suicides in different parts of the country.

It should be mentioned that mental and family problems and mental pressure caused by poverty and unemployment are considered the main factors of these suicides in the country.

At the same time, the re-domination of the Taliban group over the country and the recent government changes have led to increasing challenges on the lives of citizens, especially the youth, and provide the ground for doing this.

It should be noted that in addition to the increase in suicide among men, the restrictions imposed by the Taliban group on Afghanistani women and girls have also increased the motivation to commit suicide among women and girls.
