RASC News Agency: The Faculty of Language and Literature of Balkh University organized a party on the occasion of the of Mirza Abdul Qadir Bidel, a well-known Persian poet, in Mazar-Sharif, the center of Balkh province.
In this ceremony, a number of scholars, university professors, writers, poets and students participated and the speakers discussed and talked about the place of Bidel Dehlawi.
Cultivators and writers, who were the main speakers of this program, said that extensive efforts should be made to spread the ideas, concepts and views of Bidel Dehlawi.
They emphasized on the knowledge and understanding of young people, especially students, about the works and place of Mirza Abdul Qadir Bidel, who is famous as Bidel Dehlawi, and called it one of the needs of the student period.
Saleh Mohammad Khaliq, one of the well-known culturalisms and writers of Balkh province, says that Bidel Dehlawi is one of the influential and lasting cultural and poetic figures among Persian speakers.
Mohammad Fahim Karimi, one of the professors of Balkh University, while saying that studying and familiarizing with the works of Bidel Dehlawi will transform human life, said: “Young people should get familiar with Bidel’s thought.”
He believes that if young students want to achieve maturity, growth and development during their studies, they should learn from the works, records and activities of elders.
It should be mentioned that in addition to the fact that male students are interested in the poems and works of writers and elders in the field of culture and poetry, female students are also interested in it.
This is while the prohibition of girls from universities by the Taliban group has made this group unable to participate in cultural, artistic and social programs even though they are interested, and in Mirza Abdul-Qadir Bidel’s literature party, girls too, although who were interested, there was a ban on their presence.
