RASC News Agency: Local sources in Sare-Pol province say that the Taliban group shot his wife after 19 months after killing a former soldier in this province.

Sources told the media that members of the Taliban group attacked the house of this former government soldier in the village of “Nagashga” in Sayad district around 1:00 AM on Saturday night, August 19, they killed the former soldier’s wife and injured another woman.

According to the sources, this woman’s husband was a member of the popular uprisings of the previous government, and the Taliban group shot him in Bahman/Dalw of the year 1400 in Sayad district of Sare-Pol province.

Although the Taliban group has stated that the reason for killing this woman was “illegitimate relationship“, sources say that this woman was shot by the Taliban group because her husband was a member of the popular uprisings of the previous government.

This is while the Taliban group has arrested, tortured and in some cases killed hundreds of military personnel of the former government and their families under various pretexts after taking control of Afghanistan.

Previously, people’s sources in Nuristan province had reported that the Taliban group in this province had set fire to the house of a former local commander.

According to the sources, Taliban forces stormed the house of commander Nehmatullah in Nurgram district of Nuristan province and set it on fire after throwing rockets and hand grenades.

Sources said that as a result of the fire, Commander Nehmatullah’s house was completely burnt and since during the attack of the Taliban, Commander Nehmatullah and his family were not present in the house and they were not harmed.
