RASC: Following the deadly attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistani police raided the homes of Afghanistani refugees in Islamabad and arrested Afghanistani refugees.

Informed sources have said that on Wednesday night, August 2, the Pakistani police violently entered the apartments where Afghanistani refugees live and arrested dozens of men without asking whether they had documents or not.

Sources added: “Pakistani police even searched the inside of people’s refrigerators.” Women and children were sleeping, everyone was shocked. They even tried the boxes and stole some people’s money.”

Previously, there were reports of the misbehavior of the police of this country with Afghanistani refugees and it was said that the police of this country arrested, harassed, imprisoned and deported Afghanistani refugees from Pakistan.

Not long ago, CNN also reported that the Pakistani police did not behave properly with the Afghanistani asylum seekers who live in Pakistan for the sake of saving their lives and go to a third country, and they ask for bribes from them and in some cases they try to deport them from Pakistan.

These actions of the Pakistani police brought many reactions.

Before this, the officials of the Afghanistan embassy in Islamabad under the management of the Taliban group had said in a meeting with the security officials of Pakistan that the detention of Afghanistani refugees in this country will have a negative impact on the relations between the two countries.

Pakistan is one of the countries that hosts a large number of Afghanistani refugees who have sought refuge in this country for various reasons after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan.
