RASC: The Swedish Committee for Afghanistan (SCA) has announced that it has helped 133,000 children in the education sector in the past year.

The Swedish Committee for Afghanistan, on Sunday, July 16, said in a statement that, in addition, 2.5 million Afghanistani are in need of health care, and more than 10,000 disabled people have also benefited from the assistance of this institution.

This committee added that it is looking for a dialogue with the Taliban group to restart its activities in Afghanistan.

The organization’s statement said: “We are looking for a dialogue with Taliban officials to determine whether the Taliban’s July 11 order to suspend all Swedish activities in Afghanistan affects our organization or not.”

It should be mentioned that a few days ago, the Taliban group ordered the suspension of the activities of the Swedish Committee in Afghanistan due to the burning of a copy of the Quran by a citizen of this country.

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Taliban group, said in connection with disrespecting the Quran in Sweden, he will not allow the Sweden country to operate again in Afghanistan until the Swedish government apologizes to the Muslims of the world.

The Swedish Committee is a non-governmental organization that has been working in the education and health sector in Afghanistan for 40 years.

It should be mentioned that the Swedish Committee in Afghanistan has nearly 8,000 employees in 18 provinces of the country, who are engaged in various departments.
