RASC: Amrullah Saleh, the former deputy government of Afghanistan, after two weeks of Abdul Rashid Dostum’s request to negotiate with the Taliban group, on Monday, July 3, said that he requested the wise Afghanistani politicians not to wait for America, but to start armed resistance.
Saleh said that there is a secret alliance between Washington and the Taliban.
In a tweet, he referred to the Doha agreement as “a conspiracy to employ the Taliban group as a geopolitical tool”.
He said: “The Taliban group is a clear and serious threat to all countries in the region except Pakistan.”
Biden’s unpredictable statements regarding the importance of the Taliban group in order to prevent the threat of al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, despite the death of the leader of this group in the heart of Kabul, have led to sharp and angry reactions from Afghanistani politicians.
Among them, Rahmatullah Nabil, the former head of Afghanistan’s national security, referred to the Taliban group as “Islamic Wagner” and made these statements referring to the mercenary fighters of the Wagner group who are fighting for Vladimir Putin in Ukraine.
Amrullah Saleh wrote that the relationship between America and the Taliban “must have become clear to the wise part of the Afghanistani political class that the period of waiting and let’s see what happens is over, so they should unit together and start armed resistance.”
Saleh’s request to start an armed war with the Taliban comes at the same time that Abdul Rashid Dostum, one of the famous Afghanistani politicians, threatened on June 28, “We are not in favor of war and violence, but if there is no other option left, then this “We will not bear the responsibility of bloodshed and war.”
The Taliban group has always rejected power sharing with other political groups and asked Afghanistani political leaders to return to Afghanistan and live as ordinary citizens.
US President Biden, who is known for his blunders and unexpected statements, said in a press conference last week that al-Qaeda is no longer present in Afghanistan and he said that he would seek help from the Taliban group to destroy this network.
However, many countries of the world have repeatedly referred to the Taliban group as a threat to the region and the world.
