RASC: According to local authorities in Ghazni province, Sarda and Sultan Ghazni dams have been equipped with pleasure boats by a state-owned company.

Mawlawi Hamidullah Nisar; The head of information and culture of Ghazni said that 12 pleasure boats have been provided by the state company Afghanistan Tour in Sarda and Sultan dams of Ghazni for the use of domestic and foreign people who go to these two dams for recreation, and the income of these boats also goes to the government treasury.

According to Nisar, these two dams previously lacked proper recreational facilities and boats, and better facilities are supposed to be provided from now on.

Citizens of Ghazni have also expressed their happiness to bring pleasure boats in these dams.

Samiullah, a resident of Ghazni, said there were no ships or boats in the Sultan and Sarda dams where we used to go.  In this case, many people were playing in the water, and some of them drowned and lost their lives in these two dams.

He has asked citizens and officials to pay more attention to the protection of these boats.

It should be mentioned that Sarda and Sultan dams in Ghazni province, in addition to supplying water to many areas, have also turned into recreational places.
