RASC: According to the report of Nangarhar Province Media Office, citing the Department of Migration and Returnees of this province, 3,800 Afghanistani immigrant families from Pakistan have returned to Nangarhar in the past three months.

The media office of this province said in a newsletter that it published on Monday, June 26, that nearly 20 to 70 families have returned to Afghanistan from Pakistan.

It should be noted that the return of Afghanistani citizens from Pakistan has increased in recent days, while a few days ago the local authorities in Torkham boarder crossing announced that after two months of stopping traffic from this port by Pakistan, Afghanistani citizens are now allowed to return to Torkham. Travel to the country with their Identity cards.

It should be noted that a few days ago, an Afghanistani citizen threw himself under a car and died after the Pakistani forces did not allow him to pass through the port.

Earlier, on June 20, World Refugee Day, Amnesty International requested the government of Pakistan to stop the arbitrary arrest and harassment of Afghanistani refugees and asylum seekers who were forced to flee the country due to the recent political changes.
