RASC: US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken says once again that the US is going to the transfer of its Afghanistani colleagues.
In a statement on Monday, this ministry announced the signing of a memorandum agreement with the coalition for the evacuation of Afghanistani colleagues in order to continue the transfer of American Afghanistani colleagues and help refugees in that country.
Mr. Blinken said in a meeting on this occasion:
“When President Biden ended America’s longest war, he pledged that the United States would continue to resettle our Afghanistani partners. “We’re determined — I’m determined — to live up to that commitment, just like this group and together that’s what we’re doing.”
Mr. Blinken said in this ceremony that more than 97 thousand Afghanistani have been transferred to America.
It should be mentioned that a number of Afghanistani who are waiting for their immigration cases to be reviewed in the neighboring countries say that their hope has increased with the renewal of the commitment of the United States to transfer Afghanistani colleagues to that country.
Emal Habibi, one of these immigrants, says that he has been waiting for his immigration case to be processed in Pakistan for more than one year.
The United States of America has renewed its commitment to transfer Afghanistani to that country, after a number of Afghanistani who have special immigrant visa (SIV), (P1) and (P2) US cases have complained about the slowness in the process of reviewing their cases.
