RASC: Zahir Aghbar, Afghanistan’s ambassador to Tajikistan, says that the cause of the fire in his house in Panjshir province is the Taliban group.

He tweeted this morning, Monday, June 12: “Taliban must be aware, houses can be burned, structures may fall, but the spirit of resistance against oppression and terrorism is determined and will not waver.”

Local sources in Rokha district of Panjshir province yesterday evening confirmed the occurrence of a fire in a house belonging to Zahir Aghbar, which is said to have been inhabited by the Taliban group.

Aghbar wrote that this house was his father’s legacy and was built 25 years ago with the support of the village residents.

He added: “A house may burn in a fire, but the spirit and will of the people of that land are not combustible.”

The cause of the fire in Aghbar’s house in Panjshir is still unknown, and the Taliban officials in Panjshir have not said anything about this fire.

It should be mentioned that in the winter of last year, there was a fire in the house of Fazal Ahmed Mahnawi, the former Minister of Justice in Piawosht region of Rokha district, and the Taliban had made this house a military camp.
