RASC: Local sources in Badghis province say that a young woman committed suicide and hanged herself.

Sources say that this woman committed suicide on Friday, June 9, in Qurban Bik Hai area of Qads district.

The identity of this 22-year-old woman has not been clarified.

Sources have cited family violence as the reason for this young woman’s suicide.

The Taliban have confirmed this incident but have not said anything about how it happened.

On Thursday last week, a 17-year-old girl hanged herself and ended her life in Aabkamri, Badghis.

The reason for her suicide was forced marriage.

Despite the increase in suicide cases in the country, most of the cases due to family problems are not followed up.

It should be mentioned that according to the findings of the media, at least 25 people, 13 of whom are women, have committed suicide in the past month.
