An Explosion Occurs During the Fatiha Ceremony of the Deputy Governor of Badakhshan

RASC: Local sources in Badakhshan province report another explosion in this city.

The explosion occurred at 10:50 am on Thursday, June 18, near the Nabawi Mosque in Faizabad.

The explosion happened near the place where Mawlawi Nisar Ahmad, deputy governor of the Taliban for Badakhshan was held, who was killed on Tuesday, 6 June

Sources say that after this explosion, the conflict started in the area and is still going on.

So far, there is no information about the nature and possible casualties of this explosion.

Two days ago Mawlawi Nisar Ahmad, deputy governor of the Taliban, was killed in an attack claimed by ISIS.
