Abdul Karim Haseeb, General Director of Passports of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, said that more than 100,000 passports are distributed to citizens through this department every month.

The General Director of Passport raised this issue before  Saturday morning, June 4, in a meeting with Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and while presenting a report on the activities and functions of the General Directorate of Passport to Mr. Hanafi.

ARG’s Twitter user account, in a tweet, quoted Abdul Karim Haseeb as saying that efforts are underway to increase the amount of passport distribution.

Meanwhile, the administrative deputy of the Prime Minister’s Office said in this meeting that the passport is a “normal right” of every citizen and the officials should make no effort to prepare it.

It should be noted that citizens have always complained about the slowness of the passport distribution process.
