RASC: Reliable sources from Balkh province say that the residents of “Kohna Kaldar” village of Kaldar district of Balkh province are supposed to build a health center at their own expense.
The foundation stone of this health center laid on Wednesday May 31.
The construction cost of this building is estimated at one million Kabuli/Afghani rupees and this amount of money is supposed to be collected from the people.
Najibullah Tawana, head of public health of Balkh, says that with the completion of the work of this health center, medical services will be provided for at least seven thousand residents of the village of “Kohna Kaldar”.
This is despite the fact that after the Taliban regained control of Afghanistan, the health system in Afghanistan is facing many challenges and people do not have access to proper health facilities.
Kaldar district is one of the remote districts of Balkh province, which currently has two sub-health centers in this district.
