RASC: Doctors Without Borders (MSF) reports a seven percent increase in malnutrition in the first four months of this year in Herat province.

Médecins Sans Frontières organization tweeted yesterday that this figure is 130% higher than the same time in 2020.

M, S, F also expressed concern ten days before the increase of more than 16 percent of children suffering from malnutrition in the first four months of this year in Helmand province and said that this figure in this province increased by more than 32 percent compared to 2021.

These concerns are expressed while the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) recently announced that 875,000 children in Afghanistan are facing malnutrition this year.
