RASC: United Nations experts have asked the International Criminal Court to examine the Taliban group’s restrictions on women from the perspective of crimes against humanity.

Today, Monday, May 29, the United Nations Aid Coordination Office, quoting the experts of this organization, said that in early May 2023, they made public their assessments of the restrictions imposed by the Taliban group on Afghanistani women.

Two independent experts of the United Nations, including Richard Bennett, the special raporter of the Human Rights Council of this organization, and Dorothy Estrada Tank, the head of the working group on discrimination against women and girls, have examined the restrictions imposed on women by the Taliban group during the 21 months of this group’s domination.
