RASC: People’s sources claim that the Taliban group killed a former soldier in the city of Taliqan, the center of Takhar province. However, the police of the Taliban group rejects this claim.

According to the sources, this soldier’s name was Mohammadullah and he was a member of the police of the previous government.

A reliable source also says that the local Uzbek members of the Taliban group shot him at his house in the village of “Khwaja Mokhtar” on the outskirts of Taliqan city around 10:40 AM on Friday, May 26.

According to this source, Mohammadullah was engaged in farming after the fall of the Afghanistan government.

The press officer of the Taliban security command in Takhar denies the claim of killing Mohammadullah.

The Taliban group has been accused many times of killing and arresting former soldiers.

This is despite the fact that the leader of the Taliban group announced a general amnesty after regaining control of this country.
