The Murder of a Man in Takhar Province

RASC: According to local sources in Takhar province, the hanged body of an ethnic leader found in this province.

On Monday, May 22, the local residents in Chenzi village of Taleghan, the capital of Takhar province, discovered the dead body of Haji Gula Jan, who was hanging from the electricity tower.

However, the narratives about the mysterious death of this ethnic leader are different.

One source says that he committed self- destruction due to poverty and hunger, while another source considers this incident to be the work of the Taliban group.

Security officials of the Taliban group in Takhar have said that 61-year-old Haji Gula Jan committed self- destruction.

Chenzi village in Takhar province has been a stronghold of the Taliban in the past.

Lately, mysterious deaths have increased in some provinces of the country.

 In the most recent case, the body of a nurse discovered on Tuesday, May 16, in the Ghajor area of ​​Ghazni’s Jaghori district center, and a day later, the body of a former soldier discovered in Hazar Bagh village of Khowaja Ghar district of Takhar province.
