Construction of an Agricultural Canal with the Support of the United Nations in Laghman Province

RASC: The local officials of the Taliban group in Laghman province say that the construction of an agricultural canal worth 68,000 US dollars from the United Nations development aid has started in this province.

Mohammad Wali Mohsen, the head of agriculture and livestock of the Taliban group in Laghman province, said on Sunday, May 21, that this canal will be built in Noda Mara area of ​​Qarghaei district of this province.

According to Mohsen, this agricultural canal is 1,500 meters long.

The head of agriculture and livestock of the Taliban group in Laghman province adds that with the start of this canal, 30 to 40 people will be provided with work every day.

It is said that with the completion of this agricultural canal, 600 acres of land will be irrigated.

Currently, the construction of several projects with the financial support of the United Nations Development Program is underway in Laghman province.
