RASC: The United Nations Development Office says that with financial support from Japan and the Humanitarian Fund, it has supported 34,000 small businesses, 80% of which led by women.

The United Nations Development Office has not indicated the amount of the cost of this support and the period of its provision.

On Wednesday, 17 May, this department wrote in a Tweet: “Shahzia has set up a small shop to provide products to local women who are unable to reach the market, to make life easier and to help the local economy.”

Currently, women’s work and business are facing the restrictions of the Taliban group.

After the rule of this group, women’s investment and business in Afghanistan is facing a halt.
