RASC: Akhtar Mohammad Mansour, the president of Afghanistan Gas, Jawzjan, says that last year – 1401 (Afghanistan Calendar) the company earned 2.5 Billion Kabuli/Afghani rupees from the Qashqari oil mine in Sarpol province and 875,790,000 Kabuli/ Afghani rupees from the Jawzjan gas mine.

According to him, in 1401, more than 47 million tons of crude oil extracted and distributed to companies from Qashqari Sarpol mine.

Rozi Sadid, technical deputy of Afghanistan Gas Jowzjan, says that 650,000 cubic meters of gas extracted from the active gas wells of this province in one day, of which 250,000 cubic meters used to produce electricity to Bayat Power, and 350,000 cubic meters to Mazar-e-Sharif Electricity Code. In addition, the rest distributed to residential houses and work guilds.

Now, 22 gas wells are active in Jawzjan province and 900 people are engaged in their extraction.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan still provides a large part of its need for oil and liquid gas through imports, and then the price of oil and liquid gas rises in the markets.
