The Taliban Group Arrested 2 People in Kabul and Panjshir Provinces

RASC: Local sources in Panjshir province say that a taxi driver in this province has disappeared after being arrested by the Taliban group.

This person’s name is Ahmad Mir and the Taliban group arrested him on Saturday, 13 May, from Dala Sang area of ​​Shatel district of Panjshir province.

According to the sources, the Taliban group arrested Ahmad Mir on the Panjshir-Kabul road and transferred him to an unknown place.


Although the motive behind this person’s arrest is not clear yet, local residents say that Ahmad Mir was not connect to any group.

At the same time, the sources also inform about the arrest of a bodyguard of Fazl Ahmed Mahnawi, the Minister of Justice of the previous government.

The arrested person’s name is Zikrullah and he arrested about 14 days ago from the Lewa e Baba Jan area of ​​Kabul city.

Sources claim that Zikrullah is in a bad state of health due to severe torture in the prison of the 40th Intelligence Directorate of the Taliban group.


In addition, he has been arrested on charges of collaborating with the National Resistance Front.

The Taliban group has not said anything about this claim so far.

It should be mentioned that after the domination of Afghanistan by the Taliban group, hundreds of civilians and soldiers of the previous government were arrested, tortured and in some cases killed by this group in different parts of the country.
