Cash Aid Distributed to Farmers in Nangarhar Province

RASC: The presidency of Agriculture and Livestock of the Taliban Group for Nangarhar Province says that the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has distributed cash aid to nearly 1,000 farmers in this province.

Today, Monday, May 15, this directorate announced that the United Nations cash aid has been distributed to farmers in Shirzad, Dara Noor, Momand Dara, Nazian, Ghanikhil, Spinghar and Dur Baba districts of Nangarhar province.

Based on the declaration, the United Nations has distributed cash aid of 6,820 Kabuli/Afghani rupees to each farmer, which totals 66,836,000 Kabuli/Afghani rupees.

It is said that these contributions were made with the aim of encouraging farmers to cultivate.
