Detention of More than 20 Afghanistani Immigrants at Torkham Border

RASC: Pakistani police arrested 20 Afghanistani immigrants at Torkham border for illegally entering the country

According to media reports, Pakistani security forces have arrested more than twenty Afghanstani in some areas of Torkham town on the Durand border.

The Pakistani police announced that these people arrested last Saturday in an operation in Torkham market, “Pacha Mina” and some other areas of this town.

Pakistan Police has said that it has launched an operation in different areas of Torkham.

Azamatwali Shinwari, one of Torkham police officials, said: These 22 Afghanistani immigrants are people who entered Pakistan illegally and were staying in this country.

The court of these Afghanistani immigrants are supposed to be held next week.
