Sergey Lipovy; On Thursday, May 11, the senior general of Russia said in a press conference that if the current situation continues, Ukraine can become a second Afghanistan.
He also said that the US would lose interest in Ukraine and focus on China and Taiwan.
He, who is the head of the Russian General Staff, says that if Ukraine has unsuccessful attacks, the American support will no longer be continue.
The United States and Western countries have allocated billions of dollars in military aid to Ukraine and pledged to continue supporting Kiev.
Meanwhile, John Sopko; the American special inspector for the reconstruction of Afghanistan had previously said that the mistakes of the United States in Afghanistan should not be repeated in Ukraine.
Jose Manuel Albarez; The Spanish Foreign Minister has also expressed hope that the conflict will not be prolonged and that Ukraine will not turn into a second Afghanistan.
General Sergey Lipovy emphasized that Ukraine is aware of the situation and is doing everything to show its active actions so that the support of the West and the United States does not disappear.
