RASC: Mahtab Hamdard, a military woman who worked as a police officer in the women’s prison of Daikundi province in the previous government, has been arrested for the second time by the Taliban group.

A family member of this former military told the media that after the fall of the republican regime, Mahtab Hamdard lived secretly in the cities of Kabul and Ghazni due to security threats, but the Taliban arrested and imprisoned him on April 5.

This Hamdard family member has told the media that Mahtab Hamdard was released after the Taliban leader’s amnesty  for Eid al-Fitr and the mediation of Rish Safidan]old people[, but three days ago, the Taliban arrested him from his home in Kabul at night and took him to an unknown place.

This is not the first time that the Taliban group arrests and kills the military of the previous government after the announcement of amnesty. Previously, a large number of soldiers of the previous government were killed by the Taliban group.
