RASC News Agency: A troubling rise in mysterious killings across Afghanistan has been reported, with three individuals found murdered in separate provinces. In Nimroz, local sources revealed the discovery of a young man’s body in the Gharghari area of Khashrod district on Tuesday, December 31. Identified as Abdul Nazir, the victim had been strangled with a rope and bore signs of physical assault. The motive for this brutal act remains unknown. This incident is part of a growing wave of mysterious killings allegedly perpetrated by unidentified assailants. Some residents suspect these acts are linked to Taliban members operating covertly under the guise of anonymity.
In Parwan, another tragic case unfolded. A man named Farshid was fatally shot with a hunting rifle while tending to his farm in Abidkhil village, Jabal al-Saraj district. Fazlur Rahim Miskinyar, the Taliban’s police spokesperson in Parwan, confirmed the incident, adding that the perpetrator fled the scene. A subsequent search of the suspect’s residence uncovered hundreds of bullets, a communication radio, two AK-47 magazines, 10 military uniforms, and a quantity of narcotics. This murder follows another killing reported in Parwan just a day earlier.
In Helmand, sources reported a third killing in the Nahr-e-Saraj district. On Tuesday afternoon, December 31, a young man named Ehsanullah was stabbed to death by unknown assailants in the Nowruz Shakh area. Ehsanullah’s family insisted they had no known enemies, deepening the mystery surrounding his murder. Taliban authorities in Helmand have not yet commented on the incident. These murders occur amidst an alarming increase in mysterious killings across Afghanistan. Reports of such acts have become a near-daily occurrence, with most attributed to armed individuals operating without identification. While definitive evidence remains elusive, allegations persist that Taliban members are orchestrating these crimes while concealing their involvement.
The growing prevalence of these killings underscores the deepening security crisis in Afghanistan, heightening public anxiety over the lack of accountability and the pervasive atmosphere off ear.
