RASC News Agency: Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada, the elusive leader of the Taliban, has hailed students of jihadi Madrasas as the “true heirs of Afghanistan.” Sources revealed on Wednesday, December 25, that in a message addressed to the graduates of a jihadi Madrassa in Zabul province, Mullah Hibatullah pledged unwavering financial support for all such institutions across the country. According to reports, 1,350 students graduated from a jihadi Madrassa in Zabul on Tuesday, with the ceremony attended by the province’s governor and special envoys representing Mullah Hibatullah.
In his message, the Taliban leader called on Afghanistani families to encourage their children to enroll in jihadi Madrasas. He remarked, “The establishment of religious Madrasas has instilled fear and dread worldwide, but I will ensure strong financial support for these institutions.” Since reclaiming power, the Taliban have been systematically setting up jihadi Madrasas in every province of Afghanistan. Each of these schools reportedly accommodates over 1,000 students. Furthermore, the Taliban aim to construct one major jihadi Madrassa in every province, along with six to ten smaller madrassas in each district. These institutions not only provide traditional and ideological religious education but also train students in combat techniques and military operations.
Projections indicate that these Madrasas will produce close to one million graduates within the next two years. Experts in domestic and international affairs caution that Afghanistan’s current administrative infrastructure is incapable of absorbing such a massive influx of radicalized youth. Analysts argue that these individuals are being prepared for larger, destabilizing agendas, potentially transforming neighboring regions into conflict zones.
