RASC News Agency: Turkish media have reported that Turkey has sent a train carrying 700 tons of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, underscoring its ongoing support for the Afghanistani people. The Turkish Ministry of Transport announced in a statement that the 21st “Train of Kindness,” loaded with over 700 tons of humanitarian supplies across 51 wagons, departed from Ankara on Friday for Afghanistan.

According to the ministry, the shipment includes 4,000 tents and other essential supplies aimed at alleviating the struggles of the Afghanistani population. In a message accompanying images from the dispatch ceremony, the Ministry of Transport stated, “Turkey continues to stand in solidarity with its brothers in the region. These contributions, serving as symbols of hope, peace, and unity, will persist.” The aid package comprises 4,000 tents, 43,000 blankets, 5,000 kitchen sets, 10,000 food parcels containing flour and essential provisions, clothing, and hygiene supplies, according to the ministry’s statement.

Munir Karaloglu, Turkey’s Deputy Minister of Interior, speaking at the dispatch event, remarked, “The people of Afghanistan are enduring severe hardships during the harsh winter months.” He reaffirmed Turkey’s unwavering commitment to providing assistance and support to Afghanistan and its citizens. Earlier this year, Turkey dispatched its 20th “Train of Kindness,” which carried over 600 tons of aid in 43 wagons to Afghanistan. That shipment successfully arrived within 15 days.

Turkey has maintained a consistent record of delivering humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, emphasizing its solidarity and support for the Afghanistani people during times of need.
