RASC News Agency: Sources in Kandahar report that a dismembered body of a man was discovered in the Arghandab district. According to these sources, the man was murdered by unidentified individuals in the Khakrez district, and his body was subsequently transported to Arghandab.
The body, initially skinned and then dismembered, was found on Monday evening, September 16, inside a sack in the Tabin area of Arghandab. Sources confirm that the man’s identity and the identities of his relatives remain unknown, and the body has been transferred to Mirwais Hospital for further investigation.
Taliban police forces in Kandahar have also confirmed the incident, noting that the victim’s clothing and shoes were found in the Khakrez district. They, too, have acknowledged that the man’s identity remains undetermined, and investigations are ongoing. Numerous cases of mysterious murders have been reported, with the perpetrators often described as unknown armed individuals.
Citizens and experts, however, believe that these killings are primarily carried out by Taliban members. In the absence of a functional legal and judicial system, individuals can easily abduct their adversaries, torture them in secret, and subsequently murder them. Many of these mysterious deaths are attributed to members of the former government’s security forces. Despite this, the Taliban maintains that security in the country is fully under control.
