RASC News Agency: Credible sources report that Taliban forces, continuing their campaign against residents of Panjshir province, have recently killed a Panjshiri resident in Kabul. Sources informed the media on Monday, August 5th, that this young Panjshiri man was killed by Taliban forces last Friday in Saray Sabzi, Kabul.

According to these sources, the young man, named Ramin, was a resident of Omarz village, Khenj district, Hisa-e-Awal, Panjshir province. Local Taliban officials have not yet commented on the killing of this young man. However, the arrest, torture, and killing of Panjshir residents are not new occurrences.

During their three years of rule, the Taliban have arrested and tortured hundreds of Panjshir residents in various provinces, especially Kabul, on charges ranging from opposition to the Taliban to membership in the National Resistance Front. Moreover, several detainees have died under torture, and others have been killed. The Taliban forces remain unaccountable to any authority or individual for these actions.
