RASC News Agency: Local sources from Nangarhar province report the discovery of a young man’s body in the province’s central area, found in a river. Sources indicate that the body was found on the morning of Thursday, July 4th, in the eighth district of Jalalabad, the provincial capital.

The identity of the young man remains unknown, but it is reported that he drowned the previous day while swimming in the Darunta area of Laghman. Taliban officials in Nangarhar have yet to comment on the matter. Simultaneously, reports from Ghazni province indicate that a 15-year-old boy drowned in the Khogyani district of the province.

Taliban officials stated that the boy drowned on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 3rd, in the village of Khashai in Khogyani. The Taliban’s police command in Ghazni announced that the boy’s body has been recovered from the water. Notably, there has been a significant increase in drownings and the discovery of bodies in various provinces, including Nangarhar, in recent months.

Despite the Taliban’s claims that the lives and property of people are secure, reports of increasing insecurity in various provinces continue to rise.
