RASC News Agency: Sources from Faryab province report to RASC News Agency that Taliban members have arrested an individual in this province on the accusation of “having contact with a girl” and subsequently subjected him to sexual violence. According to these sources, on the third day of Eid, Taliban operatives forcibly entered this individual’s home, apprehended him on the charges of having or attempting to have contact with a girl, and then proceeded to rape him, inserting a stick into his rectum.
The individual, identified as Gul Ahmad, disclosed to BBC: “We were at home when several Taliban members entered, bound my hands and covered my eyes, then took me to a vehicle. Inside the vehicle, they raped me. After the assault, they brought me home, stripped me, and inserted a stick into my rectum.” Subsequently, a photograph released by the Taliban depicts this victim with a stick inserted into his rectum, being struck with another stick.
A relative of the victim informed BBC that the incident occurred on the third day of Eid. It is noteworthy that the Taliban have previously engaged in such reprehensible acts, committing numerous violations against human decency. During their three-year dominance over the country, Taliban members have invaded homes and tormented residents, frequently getting caught in acts of “illegitimate activities, rape, and sodomy.”
It should be mentioned that a few months ago, the Taliban’s narcotics manager in Takhar province was arrested for raping a woman. Similarly, late last year, Taliban members in Khawak, Panjshir violated a woman and her three daughters during the night. This group has exhibited an insatiable propensity for sexual violence, repeatedly committing such abhorrent acts. Throughout their three-year regime, the Taliban have perpetuated their reign of terror, continuously engaging in acts that violate fundamental human principles, including sexual assault.
