RASC News Agency: A resident of Takhar Province has reported a violent encounter involving the Taliban. The individual recounted that on Monday, May 27th, in the Chaman municipality area of Taloqan, a Taliban member violently attacked a man and attempted to arrest him.

The witness stated that the man claimed he was not addicted to drugs, but the Taliban disregarded his assertions and continued their aggressive behavior. According to the witness, Taliban forces severely beat the man, who eventually managed to escape, although the marks of the beating were clearly visible on his body.

This incident has heightened local concerns about the increasing violence and unlawful behavior of the Taliban. Residents of Taloqan have expressed their worries about the recurrence of such incidents and have called for greater attention to the region’s security and human rights situation. They emphasize that violent behavior and disrespect for citizens’ rights can lead to further mistrust between the local population and Taliban forces.

This event exemplifies the numerous challenges faced by the Afghanistani people, particularly in areas under Taliban control. Similar reports of violent and inhumane treatment by Taliban forces have emerged from other parts of the country. Local residents are urging the international community and human rights organizations to take more decisive action to reduce such violence and ensure the protection of civil rights.
