RASC News Agency: Reports from Baghlan Province indicate rampant ethnic discrimination by Taliban members, who are alleged to be indifferent to the local residents’ plight. According to audio recordings received by RASC News Agency on Saturday, May 25th, ISIS militants attacked the home of a resident in Baghlan, injuring two individuals.

The source stated that the injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at the Doctors Without Borders hospital in Kunduz Province. He urged senior Taliban leaders to put an end to this unprecedented tyranny and regional bias.VThe audio recordings reveal that Pashtun Taliban members in Baghlan arbitrarily arrest and torture Tajik residents under various pretexts, with no accountability.

The source added that Pashtun Taliban members intrude into homes and harass families, confiscating women’s mobile phones under the pretense of recording videos. The source emphasized that senior Taliban officials must address the ongoing injustices in Baghlan and, if residents are found guilty, bring them to court rather than punishing them without due process.

This is not the first instance of ethnic discrimination by Taliban members. Numerous reports from various provinces, particularly in the north, have highlighted the group’s ethnic bias and prejudice.
