Freedom Front: We Killed a Taliban Member in Kapisa

RASC News Agency: The Afghanistan Freedom Front has announced that its fighters recently attacked a Taliban checkpoint in Kapisa province. According to a statement released by the Freedom Front, the attack occurred on the night of May 14th at a Taliban checkpoint in the village of Shekhan in Nijrab district, Kapisa province.

 

The statement reported that one Taliban member was killed and two others were injured as a result of the assault. The Taliban in Kapisa province have yet to comment on the incident or confirm the casualties.

 

Recently, the frequency of attacks by opposition groups against Taliban checkpoints and outposts has increased significantly in several provinces.

 

In one instance, the National Resistance Front claimed that its forces killed three Taliban members and injured another in two separate operations in Herat province.
