Unidentified Gunmen Killed Woman and Two Children in Kapisa Province

RASC News Agency: Local Taliban officials in Kapisa province state that a woman and her two children were shot and killed by unidentified gunmen. Abdul Fatah Faiz, a spokesperson for the Taliban police command in Kapisa province, said that the incident took place late Thursday, May 9, in the village of Qaroteq, within the first police district.

According to Faiz, the motive for the attack on the woman and her children by unknown gunmen remains unknown. Since the Taliban assumed control of the country, crime rates have notably increased, particularly in the form of mysterious and targeted killings, armed robberies, and kidnappings in various regions.

In a related development, sources in Jowzjan province previously reported that unidentified gunmen shot and killed two Taliban members in Sheberghan city, the provincial capital. These reports emerge while the Taliban continue to claim that nationwide security has been established and that the lives and properties of the people are safe.

It should be noted that some citizens suspect Taliban members of being involved in many of these incidents, perpetrating various crimes and attributing them to unknown gunmen.
