RASC News Agency: According to local sources from Paktika province, a woman in the province has committed suicide, ending her life. Sources informed the media on Sunday, April 21st, that the incident occurred the previous night in the center of Zerok district in the province.

According to sources, the woman was 30 years old and is survived by four children. Sources add that in the past year, poverty and economic difficulties had led her to develop mental health issues, ultimately causing her to hang herself and end her life. The Taliban have not yet commented on this incident.

Since the Taliban took control of the country, the suicide rate among citizens, particularly young people and women, has increased significantly in various provinces. In a recent incident, a young man in the village of Balesh, Urgun district of the province, took his own life by ingesting poison.
