RASC News Agency: The Ministry of Public Health of the Taliban group has recently announced that cleft lip patients will undergo free surgery at Sehat-e-Tifl Hospital for a period of 10 days, performed by a team of Bangladeshi doctors. The ministry has requested people to register their sick children for this 10-day period to facilitate their treatment and surgery.

Meanwhile, the ministry stated on the X social network that the registration process for cleft lip children began on Monday of the current week and will continue until Wednesday, spanning three days. On the other hand, Dr. Mohammad Iqbal, the chief physician of Sehat-e-Tifl Hospital in Kabul, mentioned that three Bangladeshi doctors have arrived, and with the assistance of their health team, they will perform free surgery on registered cleft lip children during the ten days.

This initiative follows previous instances where doctors in various provinces of the country had performed free surgeries on children suffering from cleft lips.
