Roof Collapse in Badakhshan Injures Six people

RASC News Agency: Local Taliban officials from Badakhshan province have announced that six individuals were injured as a result of the collapse of a residential house roof in the Shighnan district of this province. According to a report from the Bakhtar News Agency published on Sunday, April 14th, this incident occurred due to heavy rainfall.

 

Taliban officials in the government’s Ministry of Natural Disaster Management also previously stated that 33 individuals lost their lives, and 27 others were injured in various parts of the country due to rainfall. In recent days, several provinces of the country have experienced heavy rainfall, resulting in fatalities and the blockade of transportation routes in some areas.

 

The Taliban’s meteorological department had earlier warned of the possibility of rainfall and flooding in several provinces of the country over the next three days.

 

Provinces such as Herat, Farah, Nimroz, Helmand, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Zabul, Ghazni, Paktia, Paktika, Khost, Logar, Kabul, Maidan Wardak, Parwan, Panjshir, Laghman, Kunar, Nangarhar, Faryab, Jowzjan, Balkh, Samangan, Baghlan, Takhar, and Badakhshan are included in this trend.
