RASC News Agency: Reliable sources from Takhar province report that armed thieves have kidnapped a money changer along with ten million Kabuli rupees from the vicinity of the province. Sources disclosed to the media on Sunday, April 14th, that two nights ago, ten individuals dressed in military attire and armed with American weapons stormed into the residence of a money changer in Dasht-e Qala district and looted ten million Kabuli rupees from him.

According to sources, the money changer, Rahimullah Qarluq, is a prominent figure and resident of the central part of Dasht-e Qala district in Takhar province. Meanwhile, another source reveals that previously, armed thieves had also stolen several million Kabuli rupees from a money changer named Ata Mohammad, prompting this money changer to be threatened by a local Taliban official not to raise his voice.

Residents of Dasht-e Qala district in Takhar province express concerns over the increasing incidents of insecurity and emphasize that most of these incidents, especially thefts, are carried out by individuals affiliated with the Taliban group. This news emerges amidst Taliban claims of ensuring the safety of people’s lives and properties; however, reports from various provinces of the country depict the opposite scenario.
