RASC News Agency: The National Resistance Council, in its latest message commemorating the anniversary of Commander Akmal Amir and his comrades, asserted that two years ago, Afghanistan was handed over to a faction as a result of collusion between internal factions and their external supporters, a faction fundamentally at odds with any religious and humanitarian values.

In a message penned today, Thursday, Apr 11, the National Resistance Council extended condolences for the martyrdom of Commander Akmal Amir and his six comrades, emphasizing the imminent eradication of the Taliban group from Afghanistan. The National Resistance Council, in its endeavor to rescue Afghanistan, labels the Taliban as a terrorist group devoid of adherence to any Islamic or humanitarian values, instead fervently adhering to their extremist narrative.

It is noteworthy that Commander Akmal Amir, Abdul Basir Andarabi, Qurban Ali Bamyanai, Fahim Salangi, Burhanuddin Andarabi, Abdul Saboor Faryabi, and Hussain Samangani, members of the Freedom Front, perished in direct combat with hundreds of Taliban fighters in the Salang district after prolonged engagement. The demise of Akmal Amir and his comrades elicited widespread reactions from politicians and Afghanistanis both domestically and abroad, with all segments of the nation regarding their deaths as a substantial loss to the country’s younger generation.

The National Resistance Council holds firm in its belief that the sacrifices of these martyrs, along with those of other resistance fighters, will not go unanswered, and anticipates the imminent dismantling of the Taliban group and its oppressive regime from the very roots.
