RASC News Agency: Local sources from Panjshir Province have reported that members of the Taliban group recently ambushed a young man in this province. Sources have informed the media on Sunday, Apr 7, that this incident occurred last night in the village of Golabkhil, situated in the Abshar district.

According to sources, the young man, named Nooragha, was targeted by Taliban members stationed at the outpost in the village of Dost Ali as he returned from the “Tarawih” prayers. Sources further state that the Taliban group held Nooragha’s body until around 9:00 AM today and did not hand it over to his family. The Taliban have yet to comment on this incident.

During the Taliban group’s more than two-year rule over the country, dozens of civilians in various parts of Panjshir have been killed by members of this group. Human rights organizations have also accused the Taliban group of committing war crimes in Panjshir, but this group has consistently denied the allegations made against them.
