Sources said the young victim was named Rafiullah and died from a gunshot wound to the head. The motive for the killing of this young man has not yet been clarified. Furthermore, according to local sources, a resident of the village of “Robatak” in the Yaftal Payan district of Badakhshan province was killed in Kunduz province yesterday.

Sources mentioned this man by the name Habibullah and added that he had been living in the city of Kunduz for some time. While the motive for the killing of this man has not yet been revealed, sources claimed that Habibullah was killed by relatives of a woman he intended to marry.

According to the sources’ account, individuals wearing Taliban attire and armed with weapons attacked this man’s house at night and tied him up before killing him.
