RASC News Agency: Ibrahim Solani, the Director-General of Foreign Nationals and Immigrants Affairs of Golestan Province, asserts that the expulsion of illegal immigrants will persist with even greater vigor in the new year.

Iranian media sources reported today, Wednesday, Apr 3, that the Director-General of Foreign Nationals Affairs of Golestan Province stated that the process of identifying and apprehend foreign citizens in this province continues in accordance with the policies announced by the Ministry of Interior of Iran.

Solani also announced the escalation of inspections, the formation of a joint identification group, and efforts to combat unauthorized employment in cooperation with the Department of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare, security forces, and agricultural jihad in this regard. The Director-General of Foreign Nationals Affairs of Golestan Province has cautioned all governmental and non-governmental contractors against hiring illegal foreign citizens in this province.

Meanwhile, Iran has significantly intensified the expulsion of illegal Afghanistani migrants, with the operational plan involving the identification, detention, and deportation of these refugees from various provinces of the country. The recent developments of the past half-century in the country have displaced Afghanistani citizens across the globe, with neighboring countries such as Iran and Pakistan hosting the largest numbers of Afghanistani citizens.
