RASC News Agency: The Afghanistan Freedom Front, a military opposition to the Taliban, has recently announced the suspension of its military offensives against Taliban positions for the next month. According to a message released by the Front on Monday, Mar 11, on the social media platform X, it stated that unless the Taliban initiates attacks against its forces, it will refrain from military operations until the end of Ramadan and the Eid holidays.

The Freedom Front stated that it will consider military responses against the Taliban during Ramadan if provocative actions such as harassment, inhumane treatment, and violence against civilians, especially women, are observed. The opposition Front added that in recent months, it has conducted guerrilla attacks on Taliban bases and outposts in several Afghanistan provinces, especially Kabul.

The Afghanistan Freedom Front previously reported in its annual activities report that since the month of March, it has attacked 233 targets across the country, resulting in the death of 592 Taliban members and injuring 699 others.

It is noteworthy that alongside the Afghanistan Freedom Front, another group known as the National Resistance Front occasionally conducts attacks against Taliban positions and members, inflicting casualties on the group in various provinces.
