RASC News Agency: Local sources from Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province, have reported that unidentified armed individuals have killed a young boy in the city. Sources informed the media on Monday, Mar 11, that the young man was killed last night in front of the National Radio and Television station, controlled by the Taliban group in Balkh, within the third security zone of Mazar-i-Sharif.

According to the sources, the young man, identified as Nasir, was shot dead by unidentified armed individuals near the three security zones of the Taliban, situated in this area. These zones of the Taliban group, as per sources, encompass the National Radio and Television station, the Foreign Ministry, and the Telecommunications Authority of the group. The Taliban group in Balkh province has yet to comment on this murder.

This incident coincides with a rise in mysterious and targeted killings and the discovery of bodies in various provinces of the country in recent days. In the most recent case, earlier, the body of a man was found in the vicinity of Ghazni city. These reports emerge as the Taliban group consistently claims that people’s lives and property are secure.
