RASC News Agency: Reports highlight a significant upsurge in corruption and injustice within the administrative framework of the Taliban, as members of the group persistently elevate their family members and close relatives to pivotal roles. As per the disclosures from the Rask News Agency on Monday, Feb 26, Shahabuddin Delawar, the patriarch, assumes the mantle of Minister of Mines and Petroleum, while his son, Maghforullah, receives the appointment as the ambassador to Uzbekistan, and another son, Rohoullah, ascends to the position of the group’s economic deputy head.

Moreover, the nephew of this official within the Taliban cohort secures the position of deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and his son-in-law assumes leadership of the Kabul Municipal Office within the Taliban ranks. This revelation emerges notwithstanding the Taliban’s reiterated claims during their two-year tenure of addressing manifold facets of corruption within society. However, reports paint a contrasting picture, indicating the complicity of group officials in corrupt practices.

Previously, Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid avowed on the occasion of World Social Justice Day the group’s unwavering commitment to upholding justice in Afghanistan society under their dominion. Nevertheless, reports reveal divergent statistics. The Taliban, in prior analogous maneuvers, have displaced proficient individuals from pivotal roles, instead favoring the appointment of inexperienced relatives and affiliates who frequently lack any semblance of expertise, experience, or formal education.
