RASC News Agency: The Taliban in Herat has announced that four armed robbers, operating as a gang, have been apprehended in the vicinity of Injil district in this province. The security command of the Taliban in Herat announced on Thursday, Feb 15, through a newsletter, that they had apprehended these four individuals in an operation.

Meanwhile, Taliban police have indicated that these individuals were involved in armed robbery, targeting vehicles and residences of Herat residents using firearms. According to information provided by Taliban police, two stolen cars and eight cellphones were recovered from these individuals.

This comes amid a sharp increase in armed robberies in certain provinces of the country during the two-year rule of the Taliban in Afghanistan. It is noteworthy that many citizens of the country condemn individuals associated with the Taliban for engaging in armed robberies, a matter consistently denied by the group.
