RASC News Agency: The Supreme Court of the Taliban in Bamyan has declared that 13 individuals, including five women, underwent public flogging in this province. In a statement issued on Wednesday, February 14th, the court declared that these individuals received lashes in central Bamyan in accordance with the Taliban’s authority.

However, the Supreme Court of the Taliban noted that the flogging sentences for these individuals were executed following the primary court’s decision, which was confirmed by the appellate court of this jurisdiction. According to information provided by the court, these individuals have been sentenced to several years of imprisonment and received 30 to 39 lashes each for crimes such as adultery, illicit relationships, fleeing from home, murder, and theft.

It is worth noting that the Taliban group has previously subjected citizens of the country to public floggings for various criminal offenses, prompting extensive reactions both domestically and internationally.
